The Walking Dead
Project Details
Four pages, four days. Skybound released a collectors edition pack of Telltale’s The Walking Dead Series that included all games. The games were divided into seasons and for search engine purposes the company wanted to create a landing page for each season that would serve as a funnel for the sale. The deadline was incredibly tight and so I designed, created, and launched the pages all within a week.

Research
As always, I allocated time for research into how the pages should be structured based on the amount of content that needed to be in each page. Each page included its original trailer alongside a trailer for each episode and images of game play. I mostly kept to Skybounds style for landing page design which allowed me to gather the original logos of the games and prep any additional assets needed to meet the deadline

Landing Pages
Once I gathered the content I started to put together a design for the pages that could be used across the board to ensure we meet the launch deadline. I started by making a hand drawn wireframe to get an idea of how the layout would be and once that was completed I built out the first page and inserted content for the other in essence streamlining the entire process

My thoughts on the project
At first I saw this as a near impossible task based on a few factors, but the main issue was definitely the deadline. Such a short timeline for the amount of preparation and work needed to complete the pages made it seem a bit a daunting but once I decided on a plan of action it all came together really smoothly. It came down to taking the right amount of time for planning and executing and assigning each task a sort of mini deadline of its own. I blocked out a day for each task, research, content gathering, and finally development, and allowed time for testing any issues that might arise for either mobile or desktop
